3 x 3 Hot Farm Turbocharger

The 3 x 3 Hot Farm turbocharger is a clone of our legendary 3 x 3 Super Farm turbocharger with one less blade. Extensive testing at the dyno and on the track proved that the 7 blade CEA® compressor wheel moves too much air down low on a 466 CID which creates compressor surge. We corrected the issue by going with a 6 blade design. The 6 blade CEA® compressor wheel still makes a lot of steam; it just makes it at a higher RPM. This is a good fit for the Hot Farm tractors that run a higher RPM while going down the track.

3 x 3 Super Farm Turbocharger

The 3 x 3 Super Farm is the charger that solidified Precision Turbo and Engine as the dominant turbocharger manufacturer in the competition diesel world! The aerodynamics that were incorporated into the 3 x 3 Super Farm had never been seen in the pulling market.
 
When initially developed, the PTE team claimed it would make 75HP more than the 3 x 3 that was being used at the time and was met with skepticism from pullers. Once the charger was bolted onto a test tractor, though, the results were astounding - PTE's new 3 x 3 Super Farm charger made 120HP more and the tractor owner refused to take it off!
 
The 3 x 3 Super Farm was a game changer then and it has been the charger to beat for the last 4 years. All NTPA Grand National Super Farm championships have been won with the NTPA 3 x 3 Super Farm since it hit the market back in 2009: Russell Counce in 2009 and 2010, Ryan Salenbien in 2011, and Darren Hunt in 2012.

The 3 x 3.35 is a whole lot of power in a T4 frame size. If you want the most that you can get and you do not want to step up to a T5 turbine housing, then this is the one for you. This will light much easier than our 3 x 3.6, but it will not have as much peak power. If you want low end torque over peak power, then we got you covered here.

ATP supplies 30” diameter round coaming rings for repair projects or new car builds. These coming rings are roll formed 7GA, C-1008 steel for superior strength. 353 Series Manual Metering Valve (Horn Valve)

The 353 Series Manual Metering Valve (Horn V alve) continues to be the manual valve of choice for operating Locomotives three or five chime pneumatic horns. Equipped with 1/2"NPT inlet and outlet connections, GW's unique stem assembly allows for manual adjustment from full flow to several metered flow positions, 1/16" (12 SCFM), 1/8" (24 SCFM), 3/16" (30 SCFM) and 70 SCFM in the full open position. Although designed to accommodate the multi-pitch pneumatic horn needs of a Locomotive, they can be easily adapted for other multiple flow pneumatic functions. Like most GW valves, the 353 Series is designed for easy maintenance without disturbing any pipe connections due to the engineered operating lever, valve cage and stem assembly.

373 Series E-BELL

The 373 Series E-BELL is a solid-state electronic bell with a sound that is just like a pneumatic bell. It does this without the normal maintenance and/or potential freeze ups of conventional bell ringers. The design is half the weight of a cast iron pneumatic bell and just as rugged. A dual interface bracket makes it possible to retrofit GM and GETS locomotives with ease. Two models are available to choose from, which include a hardwired model (373-010), and a 2-pin connector model (373-011).

The latest technology in keeping your main reservoir free of liquid water and oil is the patented model 413 Auto-Stop Drain Valve. The drain valve opens with just a pulse of air and only stays open until all the liquid has been expelled. The 413 Auto Stop Drain Valve has an independent manual drain and is designed such that the automatic drain cannot be turned off. No more flooded reservoirs and air dryers due to automatic drain valves being left in the closed position. The design results in far less air usage and far lower noise levels than a conventional main reservoir drain valve.
