785 & 786 Series 4 inch Pressure GaugesGraham-White Custom Pressure Gauges have long been the standard technology for both the heavy rail and rail transit industries. From a pressure stand point, our unique Duplex Pressure Gauge series is an extraordinary single gauge that delivers two separate pressure readings simultaneously. This dual function does the work of two single gauges, requires half the panel space, and costs less. The 785 & 786 Series 4" Duplex Air Gauges are designed with high quality bronze bourdon tubes and precision phosphor bronze movements for optimum performance and reliability. Black or green dials with white numerals (0-160 and 0-200 PSI scale) are standard. An integral quick disconnect and test feature makes all GW gauges easy to install within your control stand or console and inspect in place using the GW 706-000 Air Gauge and Pressure Switch Tester. All gauges can be removed for servicing without breaking any pipe connections. An assortment of GW "Quick Disconnect" Test Fittings are available for quick and easy testing of stand-alone air gauges and pressure switches.

818 SeriesCompressed Air Filter with an elongated centrifugal passage that spins the air and separates the liquids from it. This centrifugal passage has the unique ability to remove extremely high amounts of bulk liquids and to maintain separation efficiency throughout its full operating flow range.

|
824 Series Dual Stage FiltersThe 824 Series Dual Stage Filters combine the high efficiency performance advantages of our unique Centrifugal Separation method coupled with an extended surface, sub-micron Coalescing Element, together with one of GWs' dependable automatic drains. In combination, the end result is that heavy bulk liquids are removed by centrifugal motion. Oil varnish and water aerosols .03 micron and larger are coalesced. Abrasive particles above .3 microns are retained. Accumulated liquid contaminates are automatically expelled by the trouble free operation of the GW automatic drain. Without these contaminants to contend with, your auxiliary equipment (i.e. sanding, horn, bell, miscellaneous air valves and safety related brake equipment) will operate more reliably. In addition, contamination in the form of water, solids and oil varnish, if not removed properly, will lead to unscheduled maintenance, down time and unnecessary added costs. The 824 Series Air Dual Stage Filters are available with a number of configurations and a number of different automatic drain valves. Drain valves can be either total electric or air piloted.

849 Illuminated Console or Panel Series Air GaugesThe 849 Illuminated Console or Panel Series Duplex Air Gauges are designed with high quality bronze bourdon tubes and precision phosphor bronze movement for optimum performance and reliability . Black, green, white, silver dials and an assortment of scales, i.e. PSI (0-160 and 0-200 models), BAR, Kg/Cm2, Kilo Pascal, etc. are available to measure a variety of air pressures, i.e. MR, BP , BC and MRE. Air connections are on the back of the gauge case assembly . An integral test feature makes it easy to install within your console and inspect in place without breaking any air and/or electrical connections while using the GW 706-000 Gauge and Pressure Switch Tester. The gauge and cover assemblies are made of molded, break resistant, polycarbonate.

880 Series Automatic Electric Drain ValveThe 880 Series Automatic Electric Drain Valve is designed to exhaust liquid contaminants from the locomotive air reservoir(s) on a continuous cycle basis. An integral normally closed solenoid valve is energized by either a separate electric timer, i.e. GW 872-100 LSI model every 1 1/2 minutes or the locomotive microprocessor on a programmable basis. When the valve is energized, main reservoir air moves through the valve assembly and forces the double seated piston from a closed to open position. Contaminants are exhausted to atmosphere momentarily until the valve closes fully. When the solenoid valve is de-energized, actuating air is exhausted to atmosphere and the double seated piston moves back in the opposite direction with the assistance of an integral compression spring. Contaminants are exhausted momentarily to atmosphere on the return stroke. The valve is also designed with an integral drain/shut-off feature to manually exhaust contaminants as desired. Each 880 Series Automatic Electric Drain Valve is supplied with a flange-type mounting bracket for ease of installation on AAR type reservoirs. A heater assembly is available in several voltages for severe weather applications as well as an assortment of electrical suppression devices to prevent induced transient voltages from entering your system.

975 Series Twin Tower Air Dryer SystemThe 975 Series Twin Tower Air Dryer System is designed to deliver Dry, Oil Free and Clean air to the entire locomotive and train compressed air system. With almost three decades of service the 975 model has earned its reputation as the most widely used and dependable regenerative pressure swing dryer system in the North American railroad industry. The system is engineered as both a filtration and continuous drying package in one. A high ef ficiency coalescing filter removes liquids, sub-micron aerosols and solid contaminants. Simultaneously, two towers filled with a highly adsorbent desiccant reduce the relative humidity of the compressed air. With dry compressed air, the problems of corrosion and freezing of pneumatic components are eliminated. Removing compressor oil, that has become varnished due to the heat of compression and the shearing action of the compressor , keeps orifices from clogging, valves from sticking and metal surfaces from pitting. Solids like rust, scale, dirt and particles from compressor wear are also removed. When left unchecked, and placed in a high-speed air stream, these solids act like a sand blaster and erode components. The benefits of Dry, Oil Free and Clean compressed air are reduced locomotive and car down time with substantial cost savings.

994-600 Series Air Dryer SystemThe newest air dryer in the Wabtec line is the AirSmart™ 994-600 series. The AirSmart™ bring state of the art technology to mobile air drying. Patented architecture and control allow the dryer to purge and switch only based on total demand and inlet conditions. The result is a uniform outlet humidity, drastic reduction in valve cycles and air usage. The data collected is monitored and used for activity based maintenance, fault detection and display and health checks at start-up and on demand. Data can be accessed and downloaded through the programming or real time through the Ethernet connection.

998 Series One Way Check ValvesThe 998 Series One Way Check Valves are made with a heavy-duty corrosion-resistant iron housing. The 998 is perfect for extremely high air flows with its 1" NPT porting. Each have a soft "O" ring style leak proof sealing and an in-line cartridge. The cartridge design allows for in-line servicing resulting in a significant reduction in costly out of service time during maintenance. The check valve cartridge is designed with a spring for positive action and stainless steel shuttle that seals on an "O" ring to eliminate compressed air leakage. Several configurations with orifices are available and marked for quick reference. In addition, the GW 5998-050 Series Orifice Adapter can be used with the 998 Series Check Valve to control flow and eliminate the need for a second in-line check valve.
