975 Series Twin Tower Air Dryer SystemThe 975 Series Twin Tower Air Dryer System is designed to deliver Dry, Oil Free and Clean air to the entire locomotive and train compressed air system. With almost three decades of service the 975 model has earned its reputation as the most widely used and dependable regenerative pressure swing dryer system in the North American railroad industry. The system is engineered as both a filtration and continuous drying package in one. A high ef ficiency coalescing filter removes liquids, sub-micron aerosols and solid contaminants. Simultaneously, two towers filled with a highly adsorbent desiccant reduce the relative humidity of the compressed air. With dry compressed air, the problems of corrosion and freezing of pneumatic components are eliminated. Removing compressor oil, that has become varnished due to the heat of compression and the shearing action of the compressor , keeps orifices from clogging, valves from sticking and metal surfaces from pitting. Solids like rust, scale, dirt and particles from compressor wear are also removed. When left unchecked, and placed in a high-speed air stream, these solids act like a sand blaster and erode components. The benefits of Dry, Oil Free and Clean compressed air are reduced locomotive and car down time with substantial cost savings.

994-500 Series Air Dryer SystemThe newest version of air dryer to use Graham-White's innovative technology to produce clean, oil-free, dry compressed air for use in locomotives, the 994-500 offers a lower-cost alternative for locomotives operating in the range of 3,000-4,000 hp. The 994-500 has half the moving parts of the original 975 Series line, saving the customer both initial and upkeep expense.Technical Specifications

994-600 Series Air Dryer SystemThe newest air dryer in the Wabtec line is the AirSmart™ 994-600 series. The AirSmart™ bring state of the art technology to mobile air drying. Patented architecture and control allow the dryer to purge and switch only based on total demand and inlet conditions. The result is a uniform outlet humidity, drastic reduction in valve cycles and air usage. The data collected is monitored and used for activity based maintenance, fault detection and display and health checks at start-up and on demand. Data can be accessed and downloaded through the programming or real time through the Ethernet connection.

995 Twin Tower Air Dryer SystemThe 995 Twin Tower Air Dryer System was designed to fit inside the D-4 compressor frame commonly used in the rail transit industry. Optional mounting brackets allow for customer-specific applications. Water in transit compressed air systems causes corrosion, washes away lubrication and freezes in cold weather.Technical Specifications

998 Series One Way Check ValvesThe 998 Series One Way Check Valves are made with a heavy-duty corrosion-resistant iron housing. The 998 is perfect for extremely high air flows with its 1" NPT porting. Each have a soft "O" ring style leak proof sealing and an in-line cartridge. The cartridge design allows for in-line servicing resulting in a significant reduction in costly out of service time during maintenance. The check valve cartridge is designed with a spring for positive action and stainless steel shuttle that seals on an "O" ring to eliminate compressed air leakage. Several configurations with orifices are available and marked for quick reference. In addition, the GW 5998-050 Series Orifice Adapter can be used with the 998 Series Check Valve to control flow and eliminate the need for a second in-line check valve.

Digital Air GaugesThe 737/758 digital pressure gauges and 747/768 digital AFM’s are the latest innovation in cab air gauge technology. As with the analogue pressure gauges, the digital pressure gauges come with dual displays. This dual function does the work of two single gauges, requires half the panel space, and costs less. The auto-dimming feature provides optimum viewing of the digital display under any ambient light condition. All digital gauges will interface with the standard gauge base which makes them to be interchangeable with current Wabtec analogue gauges. The standard gauge base also allows the gauges to be removed without disrupting the pipe connections. All digital gauges are able to be calibrated in the field and the digital design allows for longer intervals between calibration. The 758 digital pressure gauge and 768 digital AFM come with AAR compliant, 8-pole, A-coded, female M12 Ethernet connector. Digital gauges and AFM’s are available with either green or black faceplates.

Door Actuator Baseplate AssemblyMost Vapor bus door actuators are delivered as baseplate assemblies. The baseplate combines the actuator, either pneumatic or electric, linkage, and door suspension into a single pre-assembled unit that mounts above the door opening. The single-piece construction simplifies door installation and adjustment, assures that geometric relationships will remain constant throughout the life of the bus.
