Precision Turbo and Engine is proud to introduce our line of direct-fit upgrade replacement turbochargers with the unique CEA® (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) 2618-forged aluminum compressor wheel. These turbochargers are specifically designed to out-perform turbos of the same size from other suppliers while delivering greater efficiency and less turbo lag.
 
PTE's Direct Replacement Performance Upgrade Turbochargers feature the following:

  • Exclusive CEA® (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) compressor wheel machined from a 2618-aluminum forging
  • Liquid-cooled, dual ceramic ball-bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA)
  • Higher efficiency and faster transient response for maximum power and performance
  • 62mm inducer compressor wheel
  • Compressor cover options:
       - "B" compressor cover 2.8" inlet/2.0" outlet
       - "E" compressor cover 3.0" inlet/2.0" outlet
       - "S" compressor cover 4.0" inlet/2.5" outlet

Wabtec Air Dryer Units for Transit Cars

Air Dryer Units

The E-1A and E-1A HP Twin-Tower Air Dryer Units used in Wabtec compressors are engineered for high-duty-cycle operation.  These units provide consistently dry air with minimum post-compression air consumption.  Featuring continuous output, this dryer purges one desiccant tower, while the other tower performs the drying cycle.  Components include a spin-off, bead-type desiccant with built in prefilter, a mechanical liquid separator, an R-1 drain valve, a coalescing filter, a main reservoir check valve, an integral thermostat and heater and a control timer.

Made with a high efficiency bar and plate core with 18 flow and 19 cooling rows, this kit comes with cast aluminum end tanks that have been specifically contoured to optimize air flow. Included with the kit is a brand new mandrel bent 3" inlet up pipe, a custom aluminum shroud and all the hoses, clamps, brackets, and mounting hardware for a true direct fit, bolt on installation. Automated Bench Test Equipment (BTE)

Bach-Simpson™ Automated Bench Test Equipment (BTE) provides a combination of automatically sequenced and manually selected electrical signal stimulation to an electronic unit under test. The system simulates the normal and threshold operational ranges of each of the inputs and communication channels of the test unit. The BTE utilizes an electronic control system based on a PC computer mounted inside a portable metal "rack" enclosure, with a touchscreen interface to allow the user to select appropriate testing procedures.
